Torbay Students' Exhibition 2024

Opportunity Listing

Artizan Collective CIC is pleased to announce the return of its Student Exhibition for the first time since 2019, our previously annual showcase celebrating creative visual arts at secondary, college and foundation level (KS3 -FD). The opportunity welcomes schools, colleges and individual students to submit work for exhibition and share the next generation of future artists.

This year, the exhibition will be hosted in our Fleet Walk venue enabling us to welcome more students and schools from across Torbay to get involved and show work in a professional exhibition space. Participants will also have the chance to win a range of exhibition prizes sponsored by local businesses and meet our professional studio artists who work from the venue.

The relaunch of this staple in our programme has been made possible thanks to support from Community Ward Funding and Tormohun Ward Councillors.

The deadline for schools or individuals to register interest is 30th April 2024 and full details of the opportunity and how to apply can be found at www.artizangallery.co.uk/student24

Taking Part

We've tried to make this opportunity as flexible as possible for different age groups and schools. As such, there's a lot of information in this document and we understand your time is precious. If you'd prefer to arrange a call to discuss your schools' individual needs, we're happy to do this and send just the relevant information that is relevant to you. Please email jacobbrandon@artizangallery.co.uk to arrange this call.

Schools and students are invited to register for participation from now until April 30th with final work being submitted in September. Initial registration is simple with the first step being to check our eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant Types

Submission can be made by:

  • A school on behalf of a year group or number of students (you must be on our eligible schools list here)

  • An individual student affiliated with a school or education provider (your school must either be on our eligible schools list, or you live at a TQ postcode)

  • An individual student applying independently (you must live at a TQ postcode and if you are under 18 we require the main point of contact on your submission form to be a parent or guardian)

If you work for a school or college not on our eligible schools list, we welcome enquiries and dependent on levels of interest hope to be able to extend this opportunity to participation in wider South Devon. Please initially register your interest to jacobbrandon@artizangallery.co.uk
