WANTED: The Photographic Art Thief

As part of the re-opening programming at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter, will be an exhibition featuring works of Anna Grayson. ‘The Photographic Art Thief’ is a collection of 40 of Anna’s pastiche photographs of famous works of art.

Anna started producing these works simply for her own enjoyment and pleasure and from her love for art history. Her first piece was a humorous interpretation of the ‘Arnolfini Portrait’ by Jan van Eyck which went onto to be selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2014. From this other pastiche of famous works followed, with two more being selected to be shown in Grayson Perry’s Yellow Room at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2018.

The 40 pieces for this show have been specially selected from Anna’s wider collection of pastiche works produced since 2014, with many of her personal favourites being included.

The exhibition will run from 18th May – 18th July
