Linocut by Barbara Nolan
Brexit Reality Notice
Barbara Nolan
Currently living and painting in Teignmouth Devon. I have had a passion for textiles, colour and all things creative since I was a child.
After getting a degree in Fashion and Textiles I taught in secondary education but on retirement I have had time to give to painting and printmaking.
The subjects of my paintings are varied as what I enjoy is the process. This means is that I will paint or draw anything that attracts me.
My style tends to be quite loose and it took me years to develop a way of drawing with which I am comfortable.
To perhaps misquote David Hockney I believe that true art comes from the hand, the eye and the heart.
Printed on hand made recycled paper made from parking tickets. A simple linocut print to express my view on the reality of Brexit.
