Grace Beswick
Grace Beswick is a Plymouth-based printmaker, originally from Staffordshire. She graduated from Arts University Plymouth in 2024 with a BA (Hons) in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking.
Her practice centres in contemporary printmaking. She works with linocut and screenprinting to explore colour, shape, layering and composition. Grace responds to her photography, often using digital software to experiment, generate ideas, and prepare designs for traditionally produced printmaking outcomes. Her work moves between levels of abstraction and figuration to challenge alternative ways of representing photographs. The Blossom Series is an ongoing body of work; she uses blossom as a visual motif to explore this idea of transformation, while maintaining a sense of continuity and familiarity.
Work from The Blossom Series has been shown in group exhibitions including the Thelma Hulbert Gallery Open 2025 (Honiton), the Ironbridge Printmaking Competition 2025 (Shropshire), and the Vanner Gallery (Salisbury) in association with The Graduate Art Show.
