Wave 4

I am an established artist based in Winchester. I have a long attachment to Devon since working there, and often return to the West Country to paint. Primarily an abstract artist my work process involves putting paint on and taking it off, building up many layers until the painting itself not an image in my mind, becomes the guiding force.

I have exhibited all over the UK and in Europe and have paintings with galleries in London and Hampshire.

This wave painting was created by my own gesture which replicates the drama of a breaking wave.  Layers are built up by repeating this gesture until I am happy with the final result.
