I am an artist living in South Devon who grew up in Lancashire, very close to the Pennine Moors.  Nature has always been a very important part of my life.

 

Capturing those fleeting,  chance encounters with a fox or deer on a quiet woodland path is what painting is all about for me. Those moments are few and far between but when they happen it's magical. I use oil paint to portray these special moments and different scenarios as they give me the richness of colour needed to capture the vibrance and beauty of nature. Once I've completed a painting it's an image that will last a lifetime and hopefully bring pleasure to many.
