Digital Art by Andy Walker
Seven Sisters East Sussex UK
Andy Walker
Andy Walker is based in the Cotswolds and specialises in landscapes, seascapes and botanical studies. He became a professional artist following his selection for an exhibition in the Saatchi Gallery and Chelsea College of Arts, London in 2017.
His artwork, inspired by his photography, comprises intricate ‘mosaics’ of hand-drawn triangles, each one being painstakingly shaped, arranged and meticulously coloured. Produced using a stylus, and a tablet as a ‘digital canvas’, enables him to select precise hues and tones to achieve a vibrancy of colour and maximise the depth of field in each piece.
His work is available as Limited Edition Giclée Prints, using archival quality paper.
More recetly, Andy has been invited to be a featured artist for Lichfield Society of Artists at their forthcoming 75th Anniversary celebrations and selected and invited to participate in the EuropArt Fair in Amsterdam and the Florence Biennale in 2021.
These famous and iconic chalk cliffs, rising up to 253 feet above the sea, are located between Eastbourne and Seaford at the point where the East Sussex South Downs meets the English Channel.
The Seven Sisters were created when ancient rivers cut valleys into the chalk, creating these seven peaks which are gradually being eroded by stormy seas.
This artwork comprises 14,469 hand drawn Triangles.
