Digital Art by Andy Walker
El Capitan Yosemite, National Park, USA
Andy Walker
Andy Walker is based in the Cotswolds and specialises in landscapes, seascapes and botanical studies. He became a professional artist following his selection for an exhibition in the Saatchi Gallery and Chelsea College of Arts, London in 2017.
His artwork, inspired by his photography, comprises intricate ‘mosaics’ of hand-drawn triangles, each one being painstakingly shaped, arranged and meticulously coloured. Produced using a stylus, and a tablet as a ‘digital canvas’, enables him to select precise hues and tones to achieve a vibrancy of colour and maximise the depth of field in each piece.
His work is available as Limited Edition Giclée Prints, using archival quality paper.
More recetly, Andy has been invited to be a featured artist for Lichfield Society of Artists at their forthcoming 75th Anniversary celebrations and selected and invited to participate in the EuropArt Fair in Amsterdam and the Florence Biennale in 2021.
This iconic mountain, one of the most notable landmarks in Yosemite National Park, California, rises to over 3,600ft in the western end of Yosemite Valley.
The contrast of the sheer white granite cliff face complementing the intense forests below is particularly striking.
This artwork comprises 22,323 hand drawn Triangles.
