South Milton

Contemporary seascapes and landscapes celebrating the South West, Kath's work moves between tradditional compositons to more abstract and gestural work.

Inspired by the stunning coastline of Devon and Cornwall and the rugged landscape of Dartmoor, Kath uses sketches and photographs to create final pieces in her studio at home. Kath would describe her approach as 'instinctive' and an emotional response to the landscape around her. It is a break away from trying to capture small details, but to celebrate a brief moment in time. Kath has a permanent display of work at the St Endoc Hotel in Cornwall, she has a wide variety of work for sale on her website and is happy to take private commissions.
