I'm a self taught painter, I explore subjects through expressive mark making and the building of colour and layers.
I respond spontaneously to my surroundings and apply lines that dance across the canvas with purpose and fluidity.

Since my retirement here I have developed a very strong connection to the sea and coast line of South Devon.

Depicting Jacob's Ladder beach cliffs on the Jurassic Coast.
