Originally from Sydney, Australia, Diannah is a contemporary abstract painter (and musician) now residing in Devon, UK.

Diannah’s early art studies included life drawing with the notable Australian artist, the late David Wilson (a finalist in the highly competitive and prestigious Dobell Drawing Prize in Australia). She holds a Master of Arts degree (Sydney University) and a PhD from Monash University in Australia.

  
Diannah paintings have been successfully exhibited in galleries in Devon and in London.  In 2023 her work featured on the front cover of the Exeter Living Magazine where she was interviewed as ‘a cool creative making a splash in the art scene’.  

Diannah is known as a colourist, with her work significantly influenced (among others) by the Colour Field Movement and associated artists such as Mark Rothko and Clyfford Still. 

While having painted for many years, Diannah is relatively new to public showings of her work, having only started exhibiting in 2022.  Since that time Diannah’s work has sold not just in the UK but also in the United States, Australia and Germany.
