I am an artist from Torquay working in watercolour and have been practicing the medium for many years. I find the unforgiving yet magical properties of watercolour offer such an inviting relationship between artist and application of paint. Throughout these years of creativity, I have managed to forge a style and portfolio that has afforded many opportunities to share the work through exhibitions, demos, workshops and other projects. I enjoy capturing many subjects with architecture being of particular interest for me.

Although I enjoy the challenge and complexities of the urban study, I find a great deal of solace in painting the natural landscape which is ever so present here in the South West. I paint plein air as much as possible, seeing where the landscape may take me next, and this unknown gives my work a different dynamic. Through sharing the work as much as possible, I hope that a glimpse of beauty that I see can be translated for the audience to also appreciate.
