Departure

I work in stone and make unique sculpture exhibiting on a regular basis mainly in the uk. 

Some pieces are inspired by nature and produce organic abstract forms often one nestling inside the other. Others depict the human condition themes include mother and child, family groups and recently our commitment to one another in long term relationships.

I use stone sourced in the West Country for most of my work. Commissions are welcomed carvings can be tailored for individuals in memory of loved ones for churchyards.

I am a member of south west sculptors. I also run small informal carving groups for adults in my workshop in Buckfastleigh on a weekly basis beginner's welcome.
