Louise is a Derbyshire based photographer and printmaker, who works across different techniques and media. She particularly enjoys those which bring the two practices together, such as photographic etching, screen printing and cyanotype, and allow her to explore new perspectives on what might otherwise be quite ordinary scenes.

A lifelong photographer, she discovered printmaking in more recent years and has since been fortunate enough to exhibit widely.

She explores many different themes in her work, and inspiration can come from anything or anywhere, but travel, another of her passions, is a recurring theme and many pieces begin with a moment captured on her travels. Above all, she makes art for the joy of making it and in the hope of sharing some of that joy with the people who look at it.
