David Goddard (artist name Gertie) has spent his life travelling and living around the UK and Europe, moving to Somerset in 2006.

He writes poetry, walks and cycles long distance. These experiences feed into his art and poetry which complement each other. He paints mainly in acrylic.

He has recently had works selected for exhibition at Bruton Art society, Heart of the Tribe Gallery in Glastonbury, Ilminster Art Centre, Harbour Gallery in Porlock Weir, Holy Art in London and Great Bow Wharf.
