David Lawrence

My aim is to capture light and particularly colour. With my sketches and photographs I record a scene as it stands. No need to improve reality. A blend of Impressionism and Klimt tends to be the result.

The aim is that this painting reflects light and colour based upon sketches and photograph taken on site. It is broadly in the style of the Impressionists.
