I have been very fortunate to have worked in careers that I have loved. One of my favourite areas was as a classically trained royal iced cake maker, especially the decoration. This skill in particular has helped me develop my own style in working with pottery. Taking inspiration from the world around me - whether land or sea, on long dog walks and Stand Up Paddleboarding, I aim to combine what I have learnt in sugar craft with pottery to bring practical joy to others. I hope you enjoy this piece which you can display either on its own, or on top of cakes over many years for your family’s enjoyment.
