Leanne Elizabeth:

A multidisciplinary artist based in Teignmouth, working across painting, printmaking, photography, digital art, and video. Her work explores inner projections shaped by nature, folklore, dream logic, and the haunting beauty of forgotten places.

 

Influenced by artists like Ithell Colquhoun, H.R. Giger, Francis Bacon, and Dave McKean, she also draws inspiration from psychedelic album art—especially A Saucerful of Secrets.

 

Recent collaboration in Exe’ubérences Exhibition (AWE 25) Throughout the past 24m, reconnecting with the South West’s creative community has been invaluable—through participation in Picturesque Torbay, and creative workshops hosted by the deeply inspiring couple behind A Kick Up the Arts, inspired her to step back into her authentic practices and showing her work publicly. She is currently working on a solo capsule collection and a large visual installation to accompany a band during their performance at a music festival this year.

 

Christophe Szpajdel:

 

Of Polish origin but born in Belgium on the 29th of September 1970, is an internationally acclaimed artist specialising in calligraphy, typography, lettering and logo design.

 

His name has been noticed behind extreme metal bands' logos like Emperor, Enthroned, Impiety, and Moonspell, to name a few, over the past 35 years…

 

Over the last few years, his horizons expanded, and Rihanna’s logo, completed in 2016, is the design that the general public has come to associate with death metal logos, mainly because it’s frequently seen as an example of such graphics. 

 

During Devon Open Studios 2025 and "Sacred Landscapes of Cornwall", we created several collections of collaborative works in which we merged our talents.
