Goliath

Beverley Samler has lived most of her life in Africa and her work reflects the natural elements of nature. Rocks, trees, wood and sharp vegetation is of interest to her especially the weight and shape they occupy in the landscape.

She also has a gender based interest in her work and has been involved in several projects concentrating on the theme of Women as Survivors. Samler has worked as an intaglio printmaker for many years but also makes linocuts, colographs etc.
