After finishing my degree at Central St Martins, a move to Devon was conducive to experimenting with clay as much as other mediums. The notion of imperfection plays a part in my process as does humour. From abstract clay objects to various clay ‘heads’ that hopefully have some individuality!
My preferred way of working is to be less fixed. If an idea pops up, I run with it, it may or may not work. My use of various mediums I find exciting from ceramics, scrap wood, lino printing, photography, found objects etc. there is so much potential in cross pollination. A finished work does not necessarily have to have meaning other than what it is, as an object.
