Shay's photography uses creative techniques such as multiple exposure and camera movement to convey her sense of things glimpsed and imagined.  

Her images are abstracted to be transformed from the mundane to the immersive.  Working closely in to her subject, Shay layers and manipulates it to show her individual response to what she sees through the lens.
