Naomi Hulatt is a Devon-based artist whose practice spans drawing, painting, and printmaking. Her work is inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and communities of the South West, exploring atmosphere, narrative, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. Through media such as chalk and pastel drawing, acrylic painting, and linocut printmaking, she seeks to capture both movement and stillness, from expressive animal studies to evocative landscape scenes. Naomi has exhibited widely across the UK, including at the Royal Cambrian Academy (Wales), SWAc (South West Academy), Ironbridge Printmakers Exhibition (Shropshire), Penlee Gallery(Penzance), Gallery Different (London), Delamore Arts (Devon), Artizan Gallery (Torquay), and the New Bath Art Club (Bath). She has sold work to private collectors in Norway, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and China. She has received several awards; including Artizan’s traditional practice award 2025, and South West Art Price in 2025. She gained 4 Honorary Mention Awards from Teravarna, as well as a Distinction from Gallery 4% for painting. Alongside her practice, Naomi is deeply committed to supporting creative communities, mentoring young artists, organising exhibitions, and delivering workshops that promote art for wellbeing. She is delighted to be chairperson of the South Hams Art Forum, a committee member for the Yealm Art Society, and an associate member of Salcombe Art Club and Pressgang (printmakers) team.
