🖌️ Mixed media on 1950's linen napkin The charger plate and napkin is painted in layers of acrylics, crayon and varnish. The actual cutlery varies. It can range from repurposing actual disposable, biodegradable wooden cutlery using a combination of techniques - painting with acrylics, blending printed transfers, printed and 'aged ' montage details to fine machine embroidery and air dried clay. Additional photographic transfers of other implements such as spanners, palette knives, surgical ophthalmic tools can also be superimposed into the composition to aid visual interest and enquiry.
