Gesche Buecker is a ceramic artist based in Preston, Paignton where she has a little workshop in her garden. Most of her ceramics are stoneware thrown on the wheel. Every piece is unique and all are vibrant – Gesche loves colour and enjoys mixing glazes to achieve different effects. Apart from glazes, she uses wax, tools, slip trailing, decal images and lustre to decorate. For Gesche pot isn’t just something to look at – texture and even sound when you make it ring all adds to the pleasure of owning a handmade piece of ceramics.

Gesche is very happy to take on commissions and her workshop is open by appointment.
