My inspiration to paint has been drawn from my own life experiences where nostalgia and my love of the Devon landscape combine. By revisiting a world where memories of walking home from school and long wonderful days with family and friends on beach and moors, my work materialises into abstracted landscapes and figurative work that reflects my narrative of having lived and loved my life in beautiful Devon since the 1960’s I predominantly work in acrylic, enhanced with collage - my style is fluid as I intuitively approach each canvas as a new journey, discovering shapes, colour and narratives as i revisit a time gone by.
