Hand Painted Textile by Rose Elliott

Limpets: They adhere to rock when alive with stunning strength and tenacity but are then found, empty, on the shore. Some of their shells are pale and wan, almost transparent. Some have a delicate greenish glow acquired from algae – and just a few are striped and almost tiger-like, resting on the sand, close to the sea.
