I am an artist from Yorkshire and paint predominantly in acrylics on stretched canvas.

My inspiration comes from spending time outdoors and watching the vivid colours across the land and sea.

I love creating abstract artwork but also landscapes and seascapes, with colour, movement and texture.

Painting for me is a feeling and a passion which I want to convey onto my canvases. I paint from memory, from my imagination and experiences, and I paint how I see the beauty of the world.

Sunday at the villa is acrylic on stretched canvas. I have used palette knives and brushes to create the scene; a warm sun, cloudless sky, little trees in their rustic planters, stepping down from the villa is the view perfect for Sunday relaxation.
