David grew up and worked in the potteries in Staffordshire, undergoing a comprehensive 5-year training program at Josiah Wedgwood from 1985 as a model maker/sculptor and then after working for many world renowned ceramic companies mainly in design and development, helping to make ideas become a working reality. 

After moving to Devon, he continued his career in ceramic design, model making and also as a creative developer, always looking to push ceramics to their boundaries and creating a wow factor within the industrial sector. having set aside time to start producing and developing his own work and becoming regular exhibitor around Devon, he is using many techniques including hand building and throwing, whilst using glazes and applications that only enhances his produces he creates.
