I am an expressionist artist from Pakistan, based in Dubai and have a passion to capture the beauty of daily life forms, light and shadow, ancient walls, architecture and the moments around me.

I have learnt fine arts from Rangoonwala Institute Karachi and have been creating works in various art medium such as pastels, charcoal, etc. capturing varied subjects. Moving towards oils and acrylics using various tools to express my visual imagery. Ancient architectural landmarks, structures/ textures and symbols have been my inspiration, hence created a series of historical site paintings of my home town. Of late, I have developed my own style emerging from my artistic investigations and studio development using various tools, surfaces and materials and subject matters in my art practice in studio. With this continuity my art has reached a realm of abstraction, where the colors and the objects would merge and create something extraordinary out of nothingness. The abstraction becomes the reality for me which has slowly and intuitively taken over the complete process of art making. So now I am to see, feel and bring about the art from within, while balancing the act of creativity using both hemispheres of brain hence the uniqueness of my art pieces.

The technique I use is that of multiple color-layering and continuous mark making process with strong textures using various tools. Such works increase the depth in my paintings and reflects a rich history of its own while depicting an abstract non-representational art work.

I have been showcasing my works at various art fairs and group exhibitions at platforms as ‘World Art Dubai’, ‘Index Show’, ‘India Art Festival’, ‘Women in Leadership Economic Forum’ Dubai, ‘Istanbul Art Fair’, etc.

My works have been showcased by Cartoon Art Gallery and AnYaah! Art Gallery in Dubai.
