I’m a Devon based artist with a background in photography and mixed media. My practice is rooted in a longstanding interest in the natural world and how it can be interpreted through abstract forms and materials. This work continues my exploration of botanical forms through texture, transparency, and shape. Tissue paper, a central material in this work, is delicate and often tears during the process  -its imperfections becoming an integral part of the composition. This work continues to evolve as I explore the possibilities of layering, translucency, and the relationship between resilience and vulnerability in nature.
