Porcelain on Oak by Angela Holmes
Natures Folds
Angela Holmes
Sculpting and walking in close proximity to both moor and sea is an inspiration and a challenge. After several years of stone-carving, I have returned to clay, enjoying its immediacy and diversity. Translating what I absorb from nature leads to evolving forms, exploring textures, unlocking movement and defying gravity.
I have recently moved from my studio in the heart of Chudleigh to further my creativity nearer to my home in Teignmouth. I am a member of South-West Sculptors, Westcountry Potters Association and Make SW. I have exhibited widely in sculpture gardens and galleries in the West Country
