Fruits de Mer

I am an artist living in Chelston and working mainly in collage/mixed media, but also equally at home in watercolour and oils. I like the fact that I am upcycling printed matter which would otherwise go for recycling and it's always particularly satisfying when the printed word is apt for the subject.

 

I attended the Michaelis School of Art, part of the University of Cape Town, and learned etching at evening classes in London when I moved to the UK. I worked for several years in interior design, creating atmospheric interiors in restaurants, bistros and wine bars around the country, as well as creating a set of original pictures for use in one of the restaurant chains.
