Emerald Beetle And Still Life

Having lived most of my life in Devon, it has been impossible not to be influenced creatively by our beautiful and diverse county and I find much joy painting local scenes using the deep and vibrant colours of oils. My favourite medium is watercolour which I use in a contemporary and sometimes edgy way for my figurative work.

 

I am best known for my portraiture and have appeared on Sky portrait Artist of the Year 2021, been commissioned by Oxford University for a portrait for their art collection and have many works in private collections and was painter in residence on an Exmoor Estate for some years. I exhibit regularly in London
