Sarah-Jane is a multi-disciplinary Artist based in Bristol, they are a Life Drawing Instructor and Drawing Technician at The University of the West of England, and part of the Rising Arts creative community. Her work explores subjects of Feminism, Women Hood, Mental Health, and Gender and Sexual Identity, working with a verity of mediums from Charcoal, Graphite, and Ink to Water Colour, Gouache, and Copper Plate Etching.
Sarah-Jane's practise focuses on process, and the experience of making, expression is key in their work. She's inspired by artist such as Jenny Saville, Tracey Emin and Donna Huanca, and strives to take her work to new materials through sculpture, and large scale pieces.
