Virginia is an artist, potter and poet based in Kingsteignton.  This year Virginia is delighted to have returned to working with clay, and is presenting a series of stoneware ceramics.

Virginia  hold a City and Guilds in both drawing and landscape painting and is Co-chair of Newton Abbot Art Group.

Stoneware Box

The tin mines on Dartmoor all closed in the mid 20th century, but were a vital part of the life in Devon. This square box shows one of the last waterwheels on the moor situated at Dry Lake, Hexworthy mine.
