My name is Margaret Kite and I am one of a small local group of retirees who meet up to enjoy each others company, coffee and painting. We call ourselves "The Artyfartys".
As you might guess we don't take ourselves too seriously but we have had some success when entering local Art Shows and competitions. We offer each other companionship, encouragement and occasionally, inspiration.
My painting are all about the local area particularly Brixham, which has such a higgledy-piggiledy fascination, you can't help but love it. Something different at every turn. I have really enjoyed trying to put its essence on paper.
I like to use watercolour and pen, but have also had some fun using Brusho, texture pastes and crayons.
