Sam Eyre (Same Year)'s work is a series of mixed media digital illustrations that are autobiographical encounters through a single given day.
My practice is inspired by lyrical compositions, visual observations, conversations, stories and feelings which contribute to the layering and context of this most recent series of works. It is through these unintentional confronts in the everyday that draws together a visual daily diary to construct his digital artworks.
Sam Eyre is the Head of Art & Design, Photography and Digital Illustration at Coombeshead Academy and is Subject Lead for Art & Design for TSSW (Teaching Schools South West).
