I am an experienced stone sculptor and trained tutor. I run a stone carving programme called Sculptworks on the Dartington Hall Estate from my workshop studio, where l also create my own work on non-teaching days.

I carve a mixture of stone, mainly English Limestone also Indian soapstone and Spanish alabaster and Italian marble. I consider myself a intuitive carver, creating my sculptures directly without any preconceived idea to start with, working with the stone and with my imagination.

My style of carving is all about trusting your gut and seeing what happens. My work draws on my spiritual interpretation of the human journey.
