This work was created using the monotype printing process. Commonly mistaken for a print of an original work, a monotype is a one off piece designed in reverse using high quality printers ink, rag rolling techniques and white spirit. Once the printing plate has been pressed the ink, and the image, is tranfered to the paper and the printing plate is blank.
