Spanish Door

I have been lucky enough to have experienced a variety of creative processes throughout my life, but printmaking has been a constant passion. I am fine art trained and have worked as a graphic designer and photographer. I have worked with children in primary school, encouraging them to develop their own creativity.

Since returning to printmaking I have been working with a group of local artists developing a greater understanding of colour and layering techniques. I particularly enjoy the process of printing and the excitement derived from the emerging image; embracing the element of unpredictability.

I make a variety of individually produced `reduction prints` inspired by the beautiful surroundings in which I live. I am passionate about sharing the experiences that I have living on the Teignmouth Estuary and I try to convey this through my work. I produce work that I enjoy and hope that this will be an inspiration to others.
