Jain Larsen-Collinge
Jain loves red. She has spent many years in hot, Latin countries, and this shines through in the bold colour and lively temperatures of her paintings.
She has lived and studied all around the world: BSc. Pure Maths Glasgow University; Art Instituto, San Miguel; Belles Artes, Mexico; private tutors for oils & watercolour USA & UK.
Her journeys across mathematics, to art, are mirrored in her abstract approach to her creations.
Jane has multiple sclerosis (MS). Painting is a positive choice to beat this demon. She hopes her paintings inspire other MS warriors, to see a creative way forward, and has founded ‘MS Art for Charity’ to help this happen.
Abstract acrylics & oils are geometric & expressionistic. Representational works are mainly in watercolour.
