Life In Resin

To work with mosaic is to play with colour and light. This ancient art form is as important today as it was centuries ago to the Romans, it fulfils a very human need to order our ideas and materials into a permanent form that once created, will never change.

 

In a world full of uncertainty, mosaic represents order and beauty. Pattern and colour make me happy, and I want my work to spread that feeling to everyone.

 

I did a Fine Art degree in painting at Exeter College of Art and Design and then spent a decade in London working as an illustrator before I discovered mosaic. Since then I have made work for exhibitions, commissions and public spaces and I am still learning every day.
