My original creative instincts were developed whilst studying Landscape Design & Plant Science at The University of Sheffield. I was incredibly lucky to spend those years immersed in both creativity/design and in the natural world - these remain my passions.

My early engagement with visual art began through a small collective, called Verdant Twin, based in Oxford. This group encouraged experimentation and the development of a personal visual language; though at that time, the busy-ness of life and work were always limiting factors to any serious creative ambition.

Fast forward a few years and I am now based in South Devon. My focus has shifted toward the human figure and portraiture. I still regard myself very much as a beginner in this area, but I am drawn to people and am inspired to capture something of them.
