Ashley Raddon is a UK based artist living in Torquay, Devon.

 

In 2022, Ashley was one of 4 amateur artist contestants who took part in 5 Devon episodes of Channel 5’s Watercolour Challenge TV show presented by Fern Britton, painting 5 locations en plein air.

 

Ashley spent 2023 exhibiting and demonstrating his watercolour painting techniques to art societies including Devon Art Society, Brixham, Dartmouth and many more including daytime workshops, mastering the art of watercolour and drawing.

 

In 2024, Ashley's watercolour Pismo Beach, California was voted No 1 in the French published International Art of Watercolour Magazine Top 100 paintings resulting in a full magazine artist feature.

 

In 2025 Ashley worked for Flavours Holidays as an art tutor teaching drawing, urban sketching and watercolour painting in Tuscany and Puglia, Italy.

 

Ashley is also an online magazine artist contributor for the UKs Leisure Painter and Artists Magazine.

This piece was produced during Episode four of Channel 5's Watercolour Challenge Series 1 2022. It was produced en plein air on location at Devils Point, Plymouth
