Fused Glass by Fiona Hiscox
Fused Glass in Porthole Frame
Fiona Hiscox has engaged with creative hobbies for several years. She discovered a passion for working with glass when she wanted to create privacy in her own home. She has developed further skills completing a City and Guilds Level 2 in Design for Craft (Decorative Stained Glass).
Recently she has undertaken fusing and other warm glass techniques at Plymouth College of Art. Her home has internal window installations and glass kitchen splash backs, adding colour with light. She works from her own studio in her country home and has recently invested in a larger fusing kiln enabling her to undertake larger pieces of work.
Her designs are simplistic and individual inspired by nature and Devon life. Her commission work incorporates details or shapes which are unique to the customer
