Creatures in the Strawberries

I have a deep passion for everything local, and that especially includes the beauty found in my Mum's garden, our many beach walks and our unique heritage buildings. We are truly spoiled living in Torquay. My pottery is a heartfelt reflection of our beautiful bay, the picturesque beaches and the rich heritage sites make this area so special. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the legendary Torquay Potteries of the past, which adds a nostalgic touch to my work.

 

In my new creations 'Happy Heart, Garden & Bones' I enjoy experimenting with even bolder, brighter colours and playful patterns, and I can't wait to share this love of happiness and creativity with all of you! Recently, I’ve also begun exploring painting. What started out as simple props for this new exhibition has now evolved into bigger bold pieces that beautifully complement my pottery designs.

 

I’m really excited also to invite you to my studio for pottery sessions! It’s a relaxed and vibrant space filled with inspiration, where you can unleash your creativity. Whether you want to try your hand at hand-building with clay or give my potter's wheel a go, there’s something for everyone. My main aim is that everyone has fun and they create something unique and wonderful to take home.
