Blue Tit Apple Blossom

I work with a variety of media, I’m spending more time recently with acrylics. With this series I’ve been keen to tap into the imagination and have a looser approach.

 

I work in multiple layers, contrasting texture density and colour. I’ve used some sand in the ground on the birds series which was not great for my brushes but added an interesting element.
