Angry Cockeral

Much of my work is very abstract and geometric but I wanted to try something figurative. The starting point of this was the quote from the novel Animal Farm, 'Four legs good, two legs bad' but instead of choosing humans I thought I went for the less obvious birds. I wanted to capture the personality of cockerels rather than a realistic interpretation and keep their form minimal but elegant. The Partridge was a progression in starting the Twelve Days of Christmas.
