Join us for a short two-week show as we welcome Southwest artist Frederick Geroge Davis to the gallery. Now retired, Davis divides his time between his home in Devon and the Languedoc in France.

Works on display span the last two decades of work from what has been an extensive career in painting, and which has seen him exhibit both in the UK and abroad. Earlier years were combined with a career in teaching but having retired several years ago he is now able to fully devote his time to his creative practice,

Known principally for his exquisite use of colour, texture, and pattern, he explores many and varied themes with acrylic, collage, watercolour, gouache and mixed media, taking inspiration from his travels and our ever-changing World.

It is an absolute treat for us to be able to show such an expansive body of Davis’s work and certainly for lovers of abstract works it is a show not to be missed.
