Celebrating Filmmaking

Artizan Gallery will be hosting four days of screenings for this years English Riviera Film Festival.

The English Riviera Film Festival returns for it’s Seventh year with a host of events and screenings in November 2021 (full programme will be online in September 2021).

A glittering line up of events is on offer at the English Riviera Film Festival when it returns this autumn for its seventh annual celebration of film making in south-west. And whereas last year’s Covid-restricted event took place entirely online, this year promises a mix of both virtual and live audience attractions.

Claire Bueno online film magazine Premiere Scene will be conducting online interviews with Film Producers throughout the festival week, whilst festival goers will be able to attend events in person at Artizan Gallery and South Devon College Hi Tech & Digital Centre. A new highlight this year, as part of the Festival’s mission to seek out new talent, will be the 72 Hour Film Challenge for South Devon College students, who will compete to produce new short films in just 3 days.

The week-long Festival will culminate in the English Riviera International Film Awards. The Festival is proud to announce that the 2021 awards are sponsored by CVP, one of the largest independent suppliers of production equipment for the Media and Entertainment sector in Europe. As in previous years, the beautiful awards trophies themselves – the ‘Rivieras’- will be handcrafted by Our Glass of Cockington.

Our mission is to celebrate and promote film making in the South West of England as well as provide a showcase for talent from across the globe. In this way we aim to promote the South West as a place where the film industry can do business, a picture-perfect location with a wealth of film making talent ready to join the world stage.
